August at the Library

Tuesday August 1st National Night Out 5:30 Library Sponsored RadZoo at 7:00 pm in the Park Starting Thursday August 3rd stop in and get your Fair ribbons and Summer Reading Certificate along with a couple other surprises. August is a transitional month; many families are vacationing, attending fairs and gearing up for the school year; so we keep the programing and events to a minimum/light. We will continue to do reading log & activity sheets through August and prize drawings each week. We welcome thoughts, ideas and suggestions for Fall & Winter Library activities and programming. Also we welcome people willing to come teach a skill. School Supply Drive starting Monday August 14th – August 29th; Please help support local families and the school with a variety of supplies. See list or check online for items. Ask Library staff. Thursday August 17th 6:30 pm Family Movie night at the Library with Popcorn and drinks Watch for take & make projects and pop up activities. Thank you for your support and being part of the Summer Reading Program
